लाभ: शल्लकी और निर्गुंडी उत्तम कार्मिनेटिव (पाचन को सुधारने वाली), वेदना नाशक तथा सूजन हटाने वाली औषधियाँ हैं। सौंठ नाड़ी तंत्र को उत्तेजित करती है और इसके अच्छे आमलहत्तर गुणों के कारण आम और वातजन्य रोगों का नाश होता है। हींग (सहस्त्रवेधी – हजारों रोगों को नाश करने वाली) रक्त संचार को बढ़ाती है और बेहोशी, लकवा, गिर्दी आदि में अत्यंत लाभकारी है। अश्वगंधा जो घोड़े जैसी शक्ति प्रदान करती है, वह मूर्छा, भ्रम, अनिद्रा आदि को दूर करती है। पुनर्नवा – “शरीरं पुनर्नवम् करोति”, अर्थात जो शरीर को पुनः नया बना देती है। यह एक उत्तम रसायन, सूजन नाशक और रक्त को शुद्ध करने वाली औषधि है। अजवायन वात को बढ़ने से रोकती है, पाचन को सुधारती है, वात को शांत करती है और उसे शांत करके बाहर निकालती है। महा रस्नादि क्वाथ सभी प्रकार के गैस रोगों में अत्यंत लाभकारी है। ये सभी औषधियाँ तरल रूप में संकलित होने के कारण शीघ्र लाभ प्रदान करती हैं।
